Abstract

Basic parameters of the immune status of relatively healthy people of different ages that live in the monsoon climate in the southern part of the Russian Far East have been considered. This data analysis has shown that the development of an immunodepressive condition in combination with increasing amounts of CD16, CD25, and HLA-DR is age-dependent and progresses together with aging. The aggressiveness of climatic, geographical, and anthropogenic factors has a deep damaging impact, which results in the degree of manifestation of functional immune disorders among elderly people, older adults, and long-lived people.
