Abstract

The external morphology and avg duration of the 4 larval stages of Aphidius nigripes Ashmead are described, based on observations using light and scanning electron microscopy. The 1st instar is caudate with pronounced falciform mandibles. The other 3 larval stages are hymenopteriform, the 2nd and 3rd are amandibulate, and the 4th instar has well developed mandibles.
