Abstract

Evidences for thermodynamical description of relativistic hadrons are presented. Relativistic hadron distribution does not obey any known statistics, though a prevailing term leads to Stephan — Boltzmann type equation of state. A common hadron state asymptotic regime is compatible with S-matrix models describing the low energy accelerator data with Pomeron exchange phenomenology. The gross features of giant showers can be explained in the frame of relativistic hadron thermodynamics. It cannot be achieved by S-matrix models with additional production of mini-jets.
