Abstract
Abstract Pterynotus marshalli n. sp. is named from a single specimen dredged off Norfolk Island and separated from the related Pterynotus bednalli (Brazier, 1877) and P. laetifica flemingi Beu, 1967 on basis of differences in the protoconch, early teleoconch whorls, and sculpture.
