Abstract
Abstract This paper reports a single case study of a patient with a selective and severe deficit in coding left-right spatial positions of objects or of object parts. This deficit produced a range of impairments in perceptual matching tasks, construction tasks, and in the planning and execution of certain motor sequences. We discuss the implications of the data for understanding the kinds of spatial co-ordinates mediating at least some perceptual and motor tasks.
