Abstract

The foliar nematode, Aphelenchoides fragariae (Ritzema Bos) Christie, was extracted from infected leaves of Helianthus tuberosus and Weigela subsessilis. The morphology and morphometry was studied and details provided additional morphological characteristics. The present population is characterized by having 4–5 annuli on lip region, visible with scanning electron microscopy. The two hosts, H. tuberosus and W. subsessilis, are newly recorded for the nematode in Korea.
