Abstract
The hydroxyapatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 and other calcium phosphates by their bioactive character are used to provide osseointegration to Titanium alloys. In this investigation, the development of a method of coating of Ti-6Al-4V with bioactive ceramics by precipitation in aqueous solution appears, varying the temperature and pH. The coatings were characterized by X-ray diffraction and cofocal optical microscopy 3D. The results show that the best conditions of composition and morphology, are obtained to pH in the range from 10 to 11 and temperature of 100°C.
