Abstract

A test bench allows measuring and recording the operating parameters of the engines. The need to develop such a device emerged in order to know the operation of the Desert Aircraft 85 cm3 two-stroke engine, which is commonly used in unmanned aerial vehicles. The test bench has a structure where a serie of electronic and mechanical elements are coupled which allow measuring and recording parameters such as the rate of rotation, thrust, fuel flow and intake air temperature and exhaust gases. This development allows to strengthen knowledge in propulsion systems in a practical and didactic way.
