Abstract

This article presents Desafio das Armadilhas, a didactic and cooperative card game to popularize science and raise environmental awareness with a thematic “combat hunting”. Methodologically, this is research of pedagogical intervention. The game was developed in partnership with Instituto Pró-Tápir, and approaches educational information about endangered animals, illegal hunting data, animal trafficking and the damages to biodiversity. We describe how this material was produced, its motivation and context. We made the cards available for download and highlighted the use of cooperative games as useful tools for the teaching-learning process in the teaching of Science and Environmental Education and we emphasize that students felt motivated to learn through the game.
