Abstract

This case study is included in a research project whose goal is to obtain a better understanding of science courses elaboration in nursery (3-6 years old) and primary (6-11 years old) school in France. Within this framework, this study analyses 12 primary teachers preparations as a partial pictures of these courses. The question being : does the curriculum prescriptions bring the courses elaboration ? Our analysis method allows to seek out the personal elaboration part of each teacher relative to the various resources available. It also underlines rationale in conception or general organization of these courses. First results show teachers attend to tensions in prescribed curriculum in many contrasted ways.
