Abstract
AbstractA 1‐year‐old, male, entire English bulldog presented for progressive paraparesis. Magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography revealed a dermoid sinus with distal dilation, meningocele and spina bifida. The lesion was successfully surgically resected, and histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of a dermoid sinus enveloped with dura mater. This case adds to the literature on dermoid sinuses and demonstrates that there can be variations within the classically described types of dermoid sinus.
