Abstract
Vascular injuries are a rare but serious complication associated with laparoscopic surgery. We encountered an unrecognized port site vascular injury in a 36-year-old woman, gravida 4 para 3, who presented 11 days after undergoing robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy with extreme ecchymosis extending from the right umbilicus to the vulva and knees (Fig A).
