Abstract

The various dermatoglyphic patterns and their variations as found in finger prints and ridge count, palm prints, axial triradii and ‘atd’ angle and sole and toe prints are described. This study of 2000 apparently normal Indian children, will help in the assessment of significant changes in various congenital disorders and may also be an important clinical sign in diagnosing these disorders.
