Abstract
La paraparesia espástica, es una enfermedad linfoproliferativa asociada al retrovirus linfotrópico T humano tipo 1 (HTLV1), que puede tener múltiples manifestaciones sistémicas, con progresión a nivel neurológico y cutáneo. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino con paraparesia espástica tropical, con HTLV-1 positivo, en el curso de una dermatitis infectiva, confirmada por histología.
