Abstract
Various derivatives of P.A.B. obtained by introduction of substituents in the benzene-nucleus have been examined for their action on the growth ofAerobacter aerogenes in a simple synthetic medium and ofDiplococcus pneumoniae in ascites-broth without peptone.
