Abstract
Different methods for the derivatization of linear alkyl benzene sulphonate (LAS) are presented. They are checked with respect to their performance, expenditure of time, reproducibility, quantitative conversion and the final analytical determination. The investigations are carried out using a GC/MSD-System. The methods are compared to get a quick survey for the choice of the derivatization way.
