Abstract

Multistage regression techniques were used to derive atmospheric class-continuous functions and distance continuous functions for the lateral and vertical atmospheric dispersion coefficients. Standard deviation of wind direction fluctuation and the lapse rate were used as the basic independent variables. All regression equations derived in this analysis were highly significant at the 95 per cent confidence level.
