Derivation of the secondary structure of 5S RNA from its binding of complementary oligonucleotides.

Abstract

Using the oligonucleotide binding procedure outlined in the previous article, the secondary structure of 5S RNA has been explored. Most of the unpaired sequences have been identified, although the findings are not compatible with any of the published models of 5S RNA.
