Abstract
ABSTRACTIn this paper the general order kinetics (GOK) equation has been derived using the probability theory. The advantage of using the probability theory to derive the GOK equation is that it does not require the quasiequilibrium equation. Secondly, it helps in determining the range of α, which is , and lastly it helps in finding the mathematical error of the May and Partridge GOK equation.
