Abstract5. 6‐Dihydro‐p‐dithiin‐2. 3‐dicarboxylic anhydride reacts with hydrazine to form the N‐amino‐imide; the six‐membered cyclic hydrazide is formed only in minor amounts. 1‐Substituted and 1. 1‐disubstituted hydrazines form exclusively N‐amino‐imides. All N‐amino‐5.6‐dihydro‐p‐dithiin‐2. 3‐dicarboximides have fairly strong, bright greenish‐yellow colours, but are of no practical value as dyes or pigments.
