Abstract
The Munich Technical University is proud to serve the public with a new branch library in Weihenstephan. This spacious building allows patrons to use an open access area that covers 9000 square feet. It took a number of years to secure the financing of the building project. Finally, in 2003 the library was inaugurated. The article describes the new library building at The Life Science Center Weihenstephan and its services to scientists and the public.
