Abstract

There are several proofs of the general version of the Kontinuitatssatz for meromorphic functions which is invariant under biholomorphic mappings. They are considerably more complicated than the proof of the analogous theorem for holomorphic functions. We present a method of proof which is as simple as the one for holomorphic functions and which allows to extend the theorem to infinite dimensions.
