MR signal intensity related to intracortical myelin (ICM) has been shown to be associated with specific clinical characteristics and cognitive performance in bipolar disorder (BD) and that ICM follows a quadratic age trajectory from 17-45 years old. Here we examine depth-specific differences in age-related trajectories of ICM in both BD and HC participants and clinical associations of ICM in BD.
