Depression and choreaJournal of Clinical NeuroscienceVol. 14Issue 9PreviewA 43 year old woman with a history of borderline personality disorder and depression presented with a debilitating movement disorder and leg weakness, progressive over a number of years. She described involuntary limb movements, decreased mobility with frequent falls as well as dysarthria and dysphagia. On examination she was alert and orientated, although emotionally labile. Her speech was slurred. Cranial nerve examination was unremarkable. Choreiform movements of her upper limbs were identified. Full-Text PDF
