Abstract
Background: High-risk neuroblastoma is the most frequent extra-cranial solid tumor in childhood, and is faced with poor prognosis despite intensive therapy. Allogeneic stem cell transplantation in combination with adoptive recipient leukocyte infusion (RLI) has been proposed as a potentially promising new strategy, and has already been shown to be effective in murine neuroblastoma models.
