Abstract
A method for narrowing the emission spectrum of a wide-band laser by a diffraction grating operating in the region of the Wood anomalies is considered. A numerical calculation is reported of the kinetics of emission by a wide-band laser. It is shown that in 1 ..mu..sec the width of the emission spectrum may be reduced to 3.4 pm.
