Abstract

Data on the solubility of cobalt(III) and chromium(III) trisacetylacetonates in water and aqueous-dimethylformamide solutions over a broad range of temperatures and concentrations are presented and the thermodynamic parameters of dissolution are calculated. The inversion point corresponding to the change in the hydration mechanism associated with the transition of the solvent’s structure from an aqueous solution to that of a mixed aqueous-organic solvent is found in dependences of solubility on the molar concentration of the organic component.
