Abstract

The yearly change in the intensity of the secondary components (hard and neutron) of cosmic rays is determined as a function of the Earth's helio-latitude using the data of the worldwide network of cosmic ray stations and of the aerological sounding of the atmosphere in 1958, 1960, 1963. The results are compared with the dependence of the magnetic activity K p index and with the areas of flacculi fields. The gradient of the cosmic ray intensity in the direction perpendicular to the ecliptic plane is found. The meridional structure of interplanetary space and its change with the solar cycle are determined.
