Abstract

RESOURCES obtained from the Manpower Services Commission have been used to set up a dental health education programme with pre-school and handi capped children constituting the principal target populations. Over a five year period the project has developed into the existing Youth Training Scheme employing twenty school leavers and four adult supervisors. The venture is of benefit both to the trainees and to the Health Authorities who sponsor the schemes, providing widespread dental health education programmes which otherwise could not be carried out.
