Introduction

Dental caries is the localized destruction of susceptible dental hard tissues by acidic by-products from bacterial fermentation of dietary carbohydrates [1]. This occurs when the cariogenic microorganisms produce enzymes that decrease the pH levels below 5.5, resulting in demineralization of enamel and breakdown of hard tooth structure. In cases of severe or complete loss of hearing, the term “deaf” is described. This disability can either be inherited, or acquired through time, or disease
