Abstract

Experimental density, viscosity, speed of sound, and refractive index for binary mixtures of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone with water, ethanol, and ethanolamine were measured over the entire composition range at different temperatures of (293.15 to 323.15) K. The effect of composition and temperature upon different physical properties has been analyzed. Excess volumes have been calculated, and their dependence on composition was mathematically represented by a Redlich−Kister-type equation.
