Abstract

Density and the speed of sound were measured in various carbon dioxide + n-docosane mixtures with CO2 mole fractions ranging from 0 to 0.84. Measurements were performed along two isotherms: 333.15 and 343.15 K from 10 to 70 MPa. Based on these measurements, the related isothermal and isentropic compressibilities were obtained. In addition, excess volumetric and acoustic properties were calculated across the same p,T range and represented as a function of CO2 content.
