Abstract
The density of melts of the system KF(1) + K2NbF7(2) + Nb2O5(3) up to 20 mol % Nb2O5 has been measured using the Archimedean method. On the basis of the measured density values, the molar volumes of the melts and partial molar volumes of Nb2O5 in different binaries were calculated. The density in the system KF(1) + K2NbF7(2) + Nb2O5(3) increases from KF through K2NbF7 to Nb2O5. In all three binary systems, some interactions have been determined.
