Abstract

The nonrandom two-liquid (NRTL), Wilson, and nonrandom factor (NRF) polymer models have been extended for the representation of the excess molar volume of multicomponent polymer solutions. The extended models have been applied to several polymer solutions, and the results show that the models are reliable for both correlation and prediction of the density of polymer solutions at different polymer molar masses and different temperatures.
