Abstract

The author is an instructor of vocational school teachers. In his opinion, deep reflection is a key to personality development in teachers and hence helps them grow as professionals. He uses Theme-centered Interaction and various personality models and coaching tools to teach reflection in the context of teacher training. Reflection in turn leads to self-leadership on the part of the instructor, which the author deems to be a core competence. In his contribution he introduces this concept based on an example.
