Abstract

A core−multishell architecture based on a hyperbranched PEI core surrounded by a double layered shell of alkyl hydrophobic groups linked to a PEO chain was successfully used as stabilizer for the formation and the stabilization for hydrophilic and hydrophobic gold nanoparticles in a wide range of solvents.
