Abstract
In applying the computer to the undergraduate sociology curriculum through simulation exercises, demography has been a neglected area. The present paper discusses several of the exercises available under the master demographic program DEMOS, and gives examples of both noninteractive and interactive exercises. A detailed discussion is provided for one interactive DEMOS exercise. Many of the simulations can be adapted readily to the individual needs of the instructor and the students.
