If the internal auditory canal is blocked by an acoustic neuroma, the contrast filled hypoglossal canal can be mistaken for a normal internal auditory canal. Additional views and/or tomography, which is diagnostic, will prevent this error. A representative case is presented.Article HistoryAccepted: Aug 1971Published in print: Feb 1972 FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByThe Laryngoscope, Vol. 94, No. 2Recommended Articles RSNA Education Exhibits RSNA Case Collection Vol. 102, No. 2 Metrics Altmetric Score PDF download
