Abstract

Design for dual-band operation of nonreciprocal composite right/left handed transmission lines with unidirectional wavenumber vectors independent of the transmitted power directions is proposed. An equivalent circuit model for the dual-band nonreciprocal CRLH transmission lines is given, and specific configuration to realize the performance is designed by using a normally magnetized ferrite microstrip line. The dual band operation of the nonreciprocal lines with unidirectional wavenumber vectors is demonstrated in the measurement.
