Abstract

Sixty-five cephalometric measurements taken on each of 223 Eskimos and American Indians from five tribal groups were studied by discriminant function analysis. Sixty measurements proved useful in classifying these natives ethnically with 88% accuracy and by sex with over 93% accuracy.
