Abstract

Abstract The expansion of political rights, civil rights or human rights, and political stability are important aspects of general well-being. They involve a broader concept of development than just increases in per capita income. There are non-market final satisfactions that political freedoms, civil liberties, and reasonable economic sta bility provide to individuals over and above money earnings. But then there are also feedback effects TO be discussed, from democratization to political stability to higher rates of investment and faster economic growth, This chapter focuses on tracing the net impacts of education, controlling for its impacts on per capita income that influence democratization, human rights, and political stability. It also addresses the structural interaction among these sectors.
