Abstract

Tom Schuller takes as a starting point his belief that there should be a more equitable distribution of power between management and work-force. He reviews the variety of conceptual approaches to industrial democracy and proposes a simple framework for analysis. He concludes that democracy at work necessarily involves the articulation of collective interests, and suggests dimensions in terms of which these interests can most usefully be defined.
