Abstract
This essay attempts to explore issues that are both distinct and intertwined. This essay determines that Islam, after 1400 years, has yet to produce a full blown democracy or given any indication that it is capable of doing so. Some of the reasons for the almost total lack of democratization in society are explored in this paper. Further, Islam is treated in this paper as similar in ideology to communism and fascism.
