Abstract

This paper aims at determining the Demand Response potential of electric storage heating systems and heat pumps in southern Germany. The results are based on collected data from companies in the energy industry. For the detection of demand response potentials different methods were applied. Depending on temperature, previous planning and control mechanisms it is possible to shift a significant part of the load.
