Abstract

State agencies, private nonprofit agencies, residential schools and public schools were surveyed to determine the demand for orientation and mobility specialists in 1980. When measures of economic demand and perceived need were compared with available data on the supply of these specialists, the results indicated that a light balance exists between supply and demand.
