Abstract

The magnetic tensor response in computational demagnetization simulations of hard magnetic materials is modeled by a new inclusive macroscopic model of ferromagnetic hysteresis, a two-dimensional vector generalization of the classic Stoner-Wohlfarth model. The model includes a mean field interaction and pinning extensions. Both rotating and oscillating demagnetization cycles and isotropic and anisotropic polycrystalline easy axis distributions are treated.
