Abstract

A 16-bits S? analog-to-digital modulator is realized in standard CMOS technology in this paper. To realize low power and low voltage, a new type of pseudo-two-stage Class-AB OTA is used in switched-capacitor integrators. Full compensated depletion mode capacitors made the whole circuit be realized in standard CMOS technology. In standard SMIC 0.18µm 1P6M CMOS technology, test results show that with 1.2V supply voltage and 6MHz sample clock, this circuit can receive much better figure of merit(FOM) compared with other reported low power low voltage S? analog-to-digital modulators.
