Abstract
The prospect of patent information is considered from the combined perspective of information professional, a patent agent, an inventor and a corporate patent information user. The proposed study is an in-depth analysis of Delphion database, a robust patent research and analysis tool and its offering as far as patent information is concerned and finally a SWOT analysis, which is an evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the said database.
