Abstract

AbstractLysyl oxidase (LOX) is a facilitator of extracellular matrix cross-linking. Using newly developed megakaryocyte-specific LOX knockout mice, we show that LOX expressed in these scarce bone marrow cells affects bone volume and collagen architecture in a sex-dependent manner.
