Abstract

Spontaneous reduction of twins is not uncommon and is estimated to occur in 15–30% of all twin pregnancies. In multicentered studies, the VT syndrome has been associated with decreased birthweight and an increase in preterm deliveries. In this study, we analyzed a large cohort of patients from a single institution to determine if there was an association between VT's and delivery outcome.
